We believe by investing in our people providing them with the relevant knowledge and skills will benefit us all and it will enable our business to prosper and grow. We encourage our people to take ownership when it comes to their training and development needs and to communicate closely with our Team Support and Development Department & line managers resulting in a team effort to ensure individuals have the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out their jobs to the highest standard. Statements from ILM candidates: "Since starting in November, I have found that the ILM Training Course has given me new skills and improved existing ones. It has proved extremely useful when setting up the Redditch division and the benefits to Fenhams will include better staff efficiency as a result of improved management skills."
By Keith Lewis "Certain members of the management team are participating in ILM Management course and the purpose of this is to ensure that we are more professional in our approach to business. I for one feel that the projects that we have covered has enabled me as an individual to step back and think more carefully about decisions I would normally make instinctively , this has had benefits for all as I am more likely to allow others to develop initiative instead of taking a more hard line approach . "I can asses the facts and make more informed decisions and come up with better solutions being more supportive to staff allowing them to try out solutions. Therefore allowing members of staff to fathom things out for them selves this in turn creates a pride in their work and more self belief."
